Born from the roots of SoBo Jazz over two decades ago in South Boston, Virginia, NuSoul has evolved into a powerhouse ensemble that delivers an electrifying fusion of jazz, funk, R&B, and soul—with a stage presence as undeniable as the music itself. What began as a local trio, founded by Chris Walton, Raymond Crawley and Joe Stephens, has grown into a dynamic, multi-member band led by a collective of seasoned musicians and vocalists who bring decades of chemistry, charisma, and crowd-moving talent to every performance.
