Bio
Josef Wehunt (Flute/Percussion) is an undergraduate studying Percussion Performance at Anderson University. After graduating from the Fine Arts Center, he performed at many events such as the South Carolina Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony, The Ms South Carolina Pageant, Palmetto Boys State, and the South Carolina Collegiate Honor Ensemble. His instructors include Gary Robinson, Brandon Gilliard, Jeff Holland, and Daniel Kirkpatrick. He now teaches percussion at Palmetto High School and Belton Middle School.
Coleman Erkins (Guitar) is 19 years old and just graduated from the Fine Arts Center. He is planning on attending Anderson University to study Commercial music. Coleman has played many gigs including Fiddler on the Roof at Saint Josephs, and the Centrikid Band for Lifeway.
Aaron Johnson (Bass) is and undergraduate student studying communications and minoring in music at Anderson University. After playing in a rock band in high school an lead worship at church he moved to Anderson, SC and began performing with AUthenticity under the direction of Doug and Kelly Norwine. With Authenticity Aaron has performed many events, such as the South Carolina State House, Jazz on the Alley in Seneca, many churches across South Carolina, and many events at Anderson University. Aaron is still performing with AUthenticity, as well as playing guitar and bass at churches on the side.
Jordan Toran (Percussion/Drums) is an undergraduate studying Music Education with an emphasis in Performance at Winthrop University. In his high school years he marched with a total of three marching bands, towards the end of his freshman year he got accepted into the Fine Arts Center’s music department. From sophomore year to senior year Jordan exclusively studied Percussion, Music Theory, and Jazz. Upon getting accepted to Winthrop University, Jordan has performed at basketball and soccer games with the Djembe group, performed in the annual composer’s recital, and performed in the Winthrop University Symphonic Band. Starting this summer Jordan will be the percussion tech at Indian Land High School. In the upcoming year he plans to join the Irish Ensemble and Jazz Band.
