She went to the big city of New York to work as a writer until coming back South in 2009 to find herself quickly welcomed into Greenville’s growing musical community. In a short amount of time, Jac Chebatoris has garnered a loyal following of music fans with her re-imagined interpretations of classics like Patsy Cline and Etta James to making Norah Jones’s tunes her own and taking risks with stripped-down retro pop hits. With her strong vocals, engaging stage presence, unique style and love of performance, Jac and her band of merry music-makers is one to watch.
