Bio

Julius Cobb was born and raised in Greenville, SC wrote his first song "The Wind The Sun & Me" in 1956 while overseas in the Army. Many more songs would follow such as "Great Big Change In Me" that was recorded by the Tams in the 60's. Over the years Julius would work with artists such as Diana Ross, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cook, Smokey Robinson, and the list goes on!  His earthy baritone always brought out the best in his own songs, which he released in a series of his own labels.Today Julius Cobb is still carrying the Carolina Soul Torch. Catch him live at BBJ.
